Walter Wilkinson

Mr. Wilkinson currently serves as the Chairman of the Board and Chairman of the Governance and Nominating Committees of R F Micro Devices, Inc. (RFMD) a fast growing, wireless semiconductor components manufacturer with global operations and over $1 billion in annual revenues.

Walter formed Kitty Hawk Capital in 1980.  He is a former Chairman of the National Association of Small Business Investment Companies (NASBIC).  He has served on the Board of Directors of the National Venture Capital Association (NVCA) and the Council for Entrepreneurial Development (CED). He has served as a director of numerous venture-backed companies, both public and private. 

He is a graduate of North Carolina State University, B.S., and Harvard Business School, M.B.A.

John Lewis

John worked primarily at Arthur Andersen and served as the managing partner of the firm’s accounting, tax and information technology consulting practice in the Carolinas. He became CFO for Arthur Andersen/Andersen Worldwide in 1990 and was a managing partner for the Chicago/Geneva office and member of the worldwide executive committee. He also served as the CFO for Milliken & Company.

John currently serves as the audit committee chair for Southwire Company and has served as a board member of the UNC Charlotte Business Incubator and Strategy, a construction industry consulting firm owned by Triton-Pacific.

He is a graduate of the University of Natal in Durban, South Africa, B.S.

Tom Meckely

Tom currently serves as the Chairman of the Audit Committee on the Board of Directors for Cato Corporation (CATO), a leading specialty retailer of value-priced fashion apparel and accessories with over $900M in annual revenues.

Tom worked primarily at Ernst & Young and was the managing partner for Ernst & Young's Allentown and Charlotte offices.  He is a member of the Business Advisor Council for the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, Belk College of Business and Member Society of International Business Fellows.

He is a graduate of Elizabethtown College, B.S. and University of North Carolina, M.B.A.

Chris Hollister

Chris was co-founder of Southern Assisted Living, Inc. (“SALI”) and served as CEO.  SALI became the largest provider of assisted living services in the state of North Carolina and one of the top twenty assisted living providers in the United States.  Southern Assisted was sold to Brookdale Senior Living, a publicly traded company based in Chicago (NYSE: BKD).

Chris is a Fellow at the Erickson School for Aging Studies at the University of Maryland.  He currently serves as Chairman of Vision Senior Living, a retirement village company in New Zealand. 

He is a graduate of Texas A&M University, B.S. and Fuqua School of Business at Duke, M.B.A.

Steve Robison

Steve is currently a partner at 3P Technology Staffing, LLC and Robison Investments with offices in Atlanta, GA and Charlotte, NC.  He manages all aspects of private equity and other investment portfolios and serves on numerous boards of portfolio companies. He also serves on the boards of Edge Health Initiatives, Simply Easier Payments, Transbotics, & Omnisolv.

Steve was co-founder and CEO of UVEST Financial Services Group, an Inc. 500 Fastest Growing Privately-held Company. UVEST become the largest provider of third-party investment services to Banks and Credit Unions in the U.S. and was sold to LPL Financial.

He is a graduate of UNC at Charlotte, B.A.

Steve Morton

Steve was co-founder of Southern Assisted Living, Inc. (“SALI”) and served as President.  He has held senior management positions in marketing and operations capacities in the assisted living Industry.

Steve continues to be a frequent speaker at regional and national conferences and has been an active participant in the American Senior Housing Association, Alzheimer’s Association and the North Carolina Assisted Living association.
