Brent Jackson Brent Jackson is co-founder and President of CompanionCabinet Software, LLC, a company that helps cabinet dealers stay competitive and profit by gaining control over processes.

Brent currently writes a monthly column for the K+BB, periodic articles for the KBDN and articles for CompanionCabinet's new Learning Center.

Brent writes frequently on dealer best practices, operation metrics, profitability, customer satisfaction, finding and hiring good salespeople, effective sales compensation models and a wide variety of other topics. Brent also hosts CompanionCabinet's yearly Fast-Track Dealer Summit, where the best dealers from across the nation gather to share ideas, implement best practices and compare their company's performance to industry benchmarks.

Brent grew up in the cabinet business with his father, Bob Jackson. His family owned several multi-million dollar cabinet operations across the U.S. Brent also spent years with a major consulting firm, building and deploying some of the largest IT systems in the world. He and a colleague formed CompanionCabinet Software in the mid-1990’s.

Under Brent’s leadership, CompanionCabinet has won three major industry awards culminating in its most recent recognition as the “Best IT Product” from Charlotte’s Chamber of Commerce.
